With a recent client of ours, we were able to sell their old home first for $20,000 over the asking price. This lets them make a non-contingent offer on their next property while putting a lot of money down and closing in less than 30 days.
If you don’t have the option to move in with relatives for a bit after you sell your home, there are other strategies we can use so that you don’t have to make a contingent offer. For example, bridge loans let you buy before you sell while only ever having one loan. We’ll discuss these strategies on November 20, at 10 a.m.
